About M.O.B.

M.O.B. Vintage first opened its doors in 2018, but really began many years before that, when M.O.B owner, Mike O'Bryant was a young child. With his grandmother Mary leading the way, Mike spent many weekends traveling to antique stores all over the Washington, DC area. It was then that his love of the old and hard-to-find began.

Years later, Mike refined his skills as a picker and had collected a unique assortment of curated antiques and vintage items. He spent Sundays set up at the nationally recognized Georgetown Flea Market. After doing this for several years, Mike had outgrown his space, and took the leap to open his first shop: "M.O.B. Vintage" on charming, Antique Row in Kensington, MD. 

M.O.B. has since grown to three shops, all on Antique Row. There's a shop dedicated to mid-century modern furniture and decor, there's the decor and bar-ware shop, and there's what Mike calls "The Fun Shop," which has a little bit of everything: vintage toys, coin banks, artwork, kitchen items, and so much more! As Mike says, "You name it, I got it!"
